Spicy Edamame Beans

Quick, easy and delicious nibble – you can also throw some homemade sweet chilli sauce over them too! Recipe by Melanie Eady

Ingredients


  • 1/2 packet of edamame beans in the shells
  • 1 tsp rice bran oil
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 tbsp freshly grated ginger
  • 1 red chilli (seeds removed)
  • 1 tsp sea salt

Method


  1. Heat the oils in a small fry pan.
  2. Toss in the edamame beans.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients and stir until hot and combined.
  4. Tip into a serving bowl and serve while hot! (Have a small side bowl for empty shells)
