Fantastic way to jazz up the old spud and serve with Fragrant fish curry or Eye Fillet, very quick to prepare and cook .
Ingredients
- 800g Agria Potatoes
- 3 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 1 tsp Yellow Mustard Seeds
- 1 tsp whole Cumin Seeds
- 1/2 tsp Tumeric
- pinch of Chilli Flakes
- salt
Method
- Peel and cut the potatoes into large bite sized cubes and cook in boiling salted water until just tender
- drain well and set aside
- Heat oil in frying pan , add the mustard seeds and cumin and cover immediately until the seeds have stopped popping
- Add the numeric and chilli and then the Potatoes ,
- Season well and turn to coat in the spice mixture
- Cook turning occasionally until the potaotes are golden and crispy
