Ingredients
- 125g butter
- 6 tbsp sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 big tbsp cocoa
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
Method
- Preheat oven to 160 degrees, fan forced. Grease and line a baking dish approx 27cm long.
- Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating well. Add vanilla.
- Sift the flour, baking powder and cocoa into the butter mixture and mix gently to combine.
- Spread into the tin and bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Ice when cool (refer to the unbaked cake for icing recipe). Cut into squares.
