Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 3-4 cups icing sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla essence
- pinch of salt
- 2 to 3 tbsp milk or heavy cream
Method
- Place butter in a mixer on medium until it is smooth and light in colour.
- Add the icing sugar 1/2 cup at a time after each 1/2 cup turn mixer up to high for 10 seconds to lighten it up.
- Add the vanilla and salt and combine well. Add the milk until frosting has reached your preferred consistency.
