So incredibly addictive. Recipe by Dio Essence.
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1 3/4 cups marshmallows (I use mini)
- 1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
- 3/4 cups walnuts, chopped (optional)
Method
- Grease and line a loaf tin.
- Combine the sugar, salt, butter, cream and marshmallows and cook in a saucepan over a medium heat for about 5 minutes or until the butter and marshmallows are almost melted.
- Bring to the boil, and cook for 5 minutes stirring occasionally . Remove from the heat.
- Add the chocolate chips and vanilla and stir until the chocolate has melted.
- Stir in 1/2 cup of the walnuts and pour the mixture into the prepared tin. Top with the remaining walnuts.
- Cool the fudge at room temperature for at least 3 hours and cut into squares to serve.
