Guy and I used to buy lamb shanks back in the early 90’s for around $2 each and although they have crept up in price they are still worth it, This Hakakaramea shank recipe was one of the first recipe I made with lamb shanks and it is so yummy and incredibly easy give it a go , I don’t use a lot of garlic powder so you can use fresh crushed garlic . Pictured here with coriander salsa and the marinade on the side .
